TDU Move In and Switch Charges
The chart below contains discretionary charges incurred by your TDU and is current as of March 2023. These fees are charged by the TDU for the connection of services as applicable and are passed through to the customer without mark up or inflation from Frontier Utilities.
The below charges have been approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and are applicable to all residential customers at the discretion of each TDU.
To determine if your premise is eligible for these fees, determine your TDU, the day you need service, and if your meter is classified as AMS-M or AMS-R.
If you are a postpaid customer and are eligible for any of the charges listed below, you will see the fee on your first invoice from Frontier Utilities. If you are a prepaid customer, Frontier will collect most fees upon enrollment. However, if you have a new meter that has never received power, you may be charged additional fees from the TDU.
